exp names new directors

exp announced the appointment of Ms. Donna Floerchinger, Ms. Nancy Laethem Stern and Mr. Louis Roquet to the company’s board of directors. They join existing board members: Ivan Dvorak, chairman of the board and co-CEO, Vlad Stritesky, president & co-CEO of exp and John McKee, executive vice-president at exp.

Ms. Floerchinger is currently retired with part-time involvement in various real estate investment and development ventures including TRES Development LLC. Prior to her retirement in 2012, she was the chief financial officer of Teng & Associates, Inc. (which became part of exp business in August of 2010) and its many affiliated entities, where she devoted 32 of her 38-year career in professional services firm management. She also held executive positions in strategic planning/marketing and professional liability/risk management.

Ms. Stern is currently executive vice president, general counsel and secretary of Allston Holdings LLC, a leading private equity-backed electronic trading firm. Prior to this role, Ms. Stern was a partner at the law firm Katten Muchin Rosenman LLP where she represented public and private companies and private equity firms in M&A and financing transactions.

Mr. Roquet is currently an associate professor at Ecole des Hautes Etudes Commerciales de Montréal. He has headed many private and public organizations, including as managing director of Algerian company Cevital Spa (2012-2014), director general of City of Montreal (2010-2012), president and chief operating officer of Desjardins Venture Capital (2004-2009), president and CEO of the Société des alcools du Québec (2002-2004) and president and CEO of Investissement Québec (1998-2002). Mr. Roquet holds a doctorate in business administration from the Harvard University Graduate School of Business Administration. He is also a board member of several organizations including Birks and Mayors Group where he serves on the executive committee, audit committee and compensation committee and non-profit organizations such as Fondation Centraide (since 2014) and Mosaïcultures Internationales de Montréal (since 2001).
