Nova Scotia Premier Stephen McNeil has unveiled his new cabinet, with Lloyd Hines taking over as the new minister of transportation and infrastructure renewal.

Hines was first elected as the MLA for the riding of Guysborough-Eastern Shore-Tracadie in 2013, and was re-elected in last month’s general election.

Before last month’s election, Hines served in McNeil’s cabinet as the minister of natural resources. Prior to his election in 2013, he served as a municipal warden in the Municipality of Gusborough.

The former minister of transportation and infrastructure renewal, Geoff MacLellan, has been named as the new minister of business, energy, Service Nova Scotia, and trade.
