After 6 1/2 years at the helm of the Crown agency responsible for the integration of transportation and transit in the Greater Toronto-Hamilton Area, McCuaig has accepted a post at the Privy Council office as an Executive Adviser for the Canada Infrastructure Bank.
The former Ontario deputy minister of transportation has helped steer The Big Move, a plan that has seen significant expansion of transit services throughout the region, including the early stages of the $13.5 billion Regional Express Rail.

John Jensen, Metrolinx’s chief capital officer, has been named interim CEO starting April 14, 2017.
