Deloitte has been awarded the contract to explore public and private sector-led options to help determine the best approach to design, construct, and maintain new buildings that will replace the Victoria and Centennial buildings in Halifax. The work is part of the QEII Redevelopment Project.
Deloitte has extensive financial advisory services experience and has advised on the planning, procurement, and implementation of some of the largest and most complex new hospital projects in Canada.
Deloitte will work closely with Kasian Architecture, the QEII master planning and programming consultants, as well as the provincial government and the Nova Scotia Health Authority. They will assess the P3 and public delivery development options and recommend an approach that is in the best interest of Nova Scotians.
The QEII redevelopment includes projects at the QEII Health Science Centre’s Halifax Infirmary, Dartmouth General Hospital, Hants Community Hospital, and other sites that will support the eventual closure of the Centennial and Victoria buildings.
