The final countdown has begun for 40 Under 40 Industrial Leaders.
The team received a record number of nominations from the full spectrum of the industrial sector, including construction, mining, engineering, transportation and more.
100 top tier professionals have been selected and they will now be presented to our judges.
“It isn’t just about quantity, it’s about quality,” said SiteNews Editor Russell Hixson, who assisted the team in poring over submissions. “These aren’t just professionals who have great industrial careers. They are pushing the boundaries of the industrial sector and helping elevate the next generation behind them.”
The awards program, which recognizes up-and-coming leaders under 40 years of age, is designed to elevate and highlight exceptional individuals who are contributing to the Canadian economy. It is powered by SiteMedia and backed by its 7 industrial publications: ReNew Canada, SiteNews, Storeys, Water Canada, Environment Journal, Waste & Recycling and Hazmat.
Our judges this year include Kalpna Solanki, Kenny Leon, Derek Bunting, Mike Maierle and Andrew Hansen. They will score each finalist and determine the 40 winners that will make up the class of 2026.
But the program doesn’t stop there. 40 under 40 honourees, alumni, and the leaders building the future of industry right now will gather for one night at BREWHALL in Vancouver on October 29th. Early bird tickets are now available. All finalists and winners get a discount.
