The Erickson Road Renewal Project includes the replacement of underground water and storm water infrastructure that is at the end of its serviceable life. Work will be completed between Larwood Creek crossing and just west of Nature Park Drive.

The first phase of the project will focus on the underground utilities’ replacement, with plans to restore the roadway to its current condition and infill sidewalks into sections where they don’t currently exist.

The City is also proactively pursuing grants funds that would allow for further surface improvements in future phases of work. The next phase could include surface improvements such as sidewalks, multi-use path, curbs and improved lighting.

Construction is expected to begin in spring 2026 and continue for 9 to 12 months.
