The City of Toronto broke ground on the Davisville Community and Aquatic Centre, a state-of-the-art facility designed to enhance the local community’s access to recreational and wellness services.

Located east of the Yonge Street and Davisville Avenue intersection, this new aquatic and multi-use facility will feature a wide range of amenities and will offer a variety of programming spaces and multi-purpose rooms, which together, are designed to accommodate both individual fitness goals and group activities, making it an ideal place for residents to connect, stay active and engage with their neighbours.

“When completed, the Davisville Community and Aquatic Centre will enhance the quality of life for residents of all ages and abilities in this community. This new facility will not only serve as a hub for health and wellness, but it will also bring our community together, providing a place for people of all ages and backgrounds to connect, stay active and build a stronger, more resilient neighbourhood,” said Councillor Josh Matlow (Toronto-St. Paul’s).

Key highlights of the future Davisville Community and Aquatic Centre will include:

  • State-of-the-art 25-metre swimming pool suitable for both recreational swimming and swim training
  • Warm-water leisure pool for therapeutic use and family-friendly programming
  • Fitness centre with equipment for cardio, strength training and fitness classes
  • Community meeting rooms and multipurpose spaces for group activities, workshops and events

The Davisville Community and Aquatic Centre was developed with sustainability in mind.
