About The Project

This project is more than just a new Event Centre (Scotia Place). It includes a number of improvements to the area including: a new 4-lane underpass under the CP train tracks with wide sidewalks at 6th Street S.E.; a community rink, outdoor and indoor gathering spaces; Scotia Place and additional hosting space on a 10-acre parcel of land; and improvements to 5 Street S.E and 15, 17 and 25 Avenues S.E.
