The City of Brampton celebrated continued progress on the Embleton Community Centre, recognizing key milestones that are brining the community facility closer to completion for residents of southwest Brampton.
Key project milestones achieved include:
- Frontier Group of Companies has been hired as the Construction Manager for the project, providing strong oversight and coordination to support efficient scheduling and a smooth construction process.
- The project design and approvals are progressing toward construction readiness ahead of the upcoming construction season. Major construction activities are expected to begin on site in spring 2026.
Embleton Community Centre will be a state-of-the-art, multi-use, multi-seasonal facility designed for residents of all ages and abilities. The centre will become southwest Brampton’s hub for recreation programs and lessons, aquatic and fitness opportunities and gathering and community connection. Planning is also underway to include a new library branch and child care facility on the site in the future.
