Janice Fukakusa, Chair of the Board of Directors of Canada Infrastructure Bank, has announced that Annie Ropar has been appointed Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Chief Administrative Officer (CAO), effective June 1, 2018. In this role, Ropar will lead all finance and corporate services functions.

Her most recent position was CFO of Aequitas Innovations Inc., which operates the NEO stock exchange. Ropar is also a board member of Ontario Growth Capital Corporation, a provincial agency that supports venture capital investment in Ontario.

“Annie’s experience in advisory and board roles, financial and business operations, and the structuring, negotiation and monitoring of investment transactions will serve her well in this new role,” said Fukakusa.

As CFO, Ropar will be responsible for financial oversight of Canada Infrastructure Bank’s activities, including implementation of key finance processes and controls, assessing financial performance, and developing the enterprise risk management framework.

As CAO, she will be responsible for oversight of corporate functions, including legal, human resources, technology, operations, and information management.
