About The Project

The goal of the project is to restore this Quebec landmark to its full potential and thus generate more economic benefits for Quebec with the deployment of an ambitious business plan. In order to restore the Olympic stadium to full functionality and to maintain the distinctive character for which it is renowned, the new roof will be fixed, rigid and will include a transparent glass hoop. The project will be done in three phases: Phase 1 (2024)-dismantling the roof; Phase 2 (2025)-dismantling and construction of the technical ring; and Phase 3 (2026-2027)-manufacture, assembly and installation of the roof.
