About The Project

The New Hospital Complex (NCH) aims to consolidate the activities of L’Hôtel-Dieu de Québec and the Enfant-Jésus Hospital on the same site. The NCH will become a reference centre for several specialties including nephrology, neurology, oncology, traumatology, and burns. With a total of 174,983 square metres of new constructions and the redevelopment of almost a third of the existing buildings, the NCH will have 700 hospital beds, including 105 critical care beds, 30 operating rooms and 60 emergency stretchers.
