About The Project

The purpose of the Route 138 extension project is to link the Basse-Côte-Nord communities together and with the rest of Québec. The work is carried out in an area featuring complex geographical, physical, and environmental conditions. Between Kegaska and Vieux-Fort, about 400 kilometres are not connected to route 138 and, consequently, to the rest of the province.
