About The Project

In February 2019, the Government of British Columbia approved the business plan for a new St. Paul’s Hospital in the False Creek Flats. The new hospital will continue to serve as an acute-care hospital and integrated health campus. The new facility will be expanded to a capacity of 548 beds and be the home of several leading provincial programs and referral centres, including for heart and lung care, renal, eating disorders, and specialty surgeries and transplants.
