About The Project

The first rapid-transit project south of the Fraser in 30 years, the Surrey Langley SkyTrain will allow travel between Langley City Centre and King George SkyTrain station in approximately 22 minutes, and in just 65 minutes between Langley City Centre and Waterfront station in downtown Vancouver. The project is expected to serve a daily weekday ridership of 56,000 in the opening year, increasing to 80,000 by 2050. Construction in 2025 was focused on foundations for roughly 200 guideway piers and columns. The pre-cast concrete facility in Surrey’s Campbell Heights was completed, and construction of Green Timbers and Langley City Centre stations was started in 2025.
