About The Project
Creating an electrified GO service means that significant work will be necessary at the system hub, Union Station in Toronto. Work on the Union Station Rail Corridor (USRC) will include system and track upgrades that will provide the necessary infrastructure for electrified GO trains to enter and exit the station at high frequency throughout the day and night.
Completion of the upgrades to the USRC is anticipated by the end of 2025.
