About The Project

The new Vancouver Art Gallery will be a purpose-built art museum that will significantly expand the public programming and education opportunities offered in the region. The new gallery will be built on two-thirds of the city’s Larwill Park site, footsteps from the gallery’s current home and nestled within Vancouver’s vibrant culture and recreation scene.

An official groundbreaking for the new gallery was expected for sometime in 2017, but as of press time, an official date had not yet been scheduled.
