The Canada Infrastructure Bank has welcomed Bruno Guilmette as interim Chief Investment Officer (CIO).

“The Board recognized the need to move quickly and Bruno Guilmette agreed to start the build up of our infrastructure investment capacity as interim Chief Investment Officer, so that we can look forward to engaging with stakeholders,” said Janice Fukakusa, chair of the board of directors of the Canada Infrastructure Bank.

Guilmette, who was named to the inaugural Board of Directors on November 16, 2017, will step down from his board position while serving in the CIO position.

The Canada Infrastructure Bank will use federal support to attract private sector and institutional investment to new revenue-generating infrastructure projects that are in the public interest. By engaging the expertise and capital of the private sector, the Bank will help provide more infrastructure for Canadians.
