Sean Hanlon has taken over as the new president of Dillon Consulting Limited and Dillon Consulting Inc.
Hanlon is a chemical engineer with over 27 years of industry experience based out of Dillon’s Saint John office. He joined Dillon in 2002, and progressed rapidly within Dillon, becoming a partner in 2007. He has served as a member of the Dillon board since 2010 and took on the leadership role for the Environmental Sciences group in 2014.
In April 2018, Hanlon accepted the position of interim president and successfully led Dillon through an intense period of transition, while at the same time driving significant growth for the organization across Canada.
“Sean is a leader with an exceptional work ethic who always places the needs of others and the firm ahead of himself. Moreover, he brings strong personal motivation and commitment to help the organization achieve its goals for both the short and long term,” said Rick Fitzgerald, Dillon Board Chair. “His ability to communicate respectfully, honestly, and directly to engage and inspire have been recognized by many and were particularly evident and appreciated during this past year. These attributes have earned him the admiration and respect of our organization and will serve him well as he continues to move forward in his role as President.”
As president, Sean will continue to work closely with interim CEO Terry Boutilier and the entire Dillon team to grow the business within an environment of continuous learning and development.
