Anne McMullin is stepping down from her role as president and CEO of the Urban Development Institute (UDI) of British Columbia after nearly 14 years of leadership.

Markus Kritzler has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of Carbon Upcycling Technologies, leading the company’s expansion across North America and Europe. He succeeds co-founder Apoorv Sinha, who transitions to President to focus on investor engagement and long-term strategy.

Rhianna Rose has been appointed Senior Vice President and Executive Director of Operations for Canada at Jacobs.

Jean-Christophe Caron has been appointed Vice President, Preconstruction at JCB Construction Canada.

Arash Farbahi has joined Kasian as Principal at theToronto office.

Brock O’Donnell has joined Nordic Structures as Director of Business Development, Canada, based in Toronto.

Melissa Haresign has been promoted to Department Head of the Winnipeg Water Resources Department at KGS Group.

The Vancouver Regional Construction Association announced its 2026/27 Board of Directors, with Scott Adkins of PCL Constructors Westcoast Inc. as Chair. Four new members joined the board: Hugo Huynh (Flynn Group of Companies), Jerrylynn McCann (Raicor Contracting Ltd.), Ellisha Mott (Mott Electric), and Danielle Savioz (Victaulic).

Heather MacDermid has been promoted to Assistant Manager, Finance & Commercial Risk for PCL‘s AC District. She previously served as Accounting Manager.

Katia Millaire has been appointed Senior Vice President, Talent and Culture at CIMA+.

The Vancouver Regional Construction Association (VRCA) announces the 2026 Young Construction Leaders (YCL) Committee, with Keeli Husband of EllisDon serving as Chair, alongside nine other committee members including Vice Chair Cam Roy (Ram Construction), Secretary Joey Thompson (Marsh Canada Ltd.), and Treasurer Herman Duley (Beedie Construction).

Irwin Bess has been appointed as the new Executive Director of BuildForce Canada.

Paul Demeule has joined Pomerleau Buildings West as MEP Operations Manager for Western Canada.

Vivek Sood stepped into the role of President & CEO at Nova Scotia Power on March 1, succeeding Peter Gregg who is transitioning to a new role at Emera after five years leading the organization.

Emiliano Mancini has joined WSP as Vice President, Advisory Services.

Jonathon D’Onofrio is starting a new position as Strategic Advisor at Ontario Ministry of Transportation.

Gavin Trewern has been appointed Regional Director Atlantic Canada at Bird Infrastructure.

Stacey Hamilton (Brown) has been promoted to Senior Vice President, Growth Leader at WSP in Canada, supporting both the Earth & Environment and Property & Buildings businesses.

Sylvain Gazaille has been appointed Senior Director, Defence Market at CIMA+.

Jaime Freyre de Andrade Calonge has been promoted to Chief Operating Officer, Civil, Infrastructure and Major Projects at Pomerleau.

Gabriel Ataide has joined AECOM‘s Highway and Bridge Engineering team.

Annely Zonena is starting a new role as Director, Waterfront Secretariat for the City of Toronto.

Chandos Construction promoted Padraig McCarthy and Todd Baker have been promoted to Vice Presidents & District Managers; Aleksi Makila has become VP & Division Manager; and Owen Nordmark has taken on the role of VP of the Centre of Excellence.

Daniel Lessard is relocating to Vancouver to take on the role of Senior Vice President – Civil & Infrastructure – Western Canada at Pomerleau.

Rick Schippling has joined Alto as Senior Director of Land Acquisitions and Development. He brings nine years of experience from his previous role at Metrolinx.

David Chemla has been appointed to the Board of Directors of Windsor-Detroit Bridge Authority. Chemla brings over 25 years of experience in delivering major public-private partnership infrastructure projects and previously served as Vice-President of Project Delivery at Infrastructure Ontario.

Ontario Public Works Association (OPWA) announced its 2026 board members, with Max Ross as President and Marco Bertoia (City of Toronto) as President-elect, alongside 20 directors representing municipalities, consulting firms, and industry partners across Ontario.

Megan Telford has been appointed President and CEO of Hydro One Limited, following David Lebeters’ retirement on June 9, 2026.

Chris Metaxas, P.Eng. has joined TULLOCH as Engineering Lead for the Mining and Construction team, bringing 20 years of experience in Ontario’s infrastructure and construction market with expertise in civil, structural, and geostructural design.

Jamie Di Laudo, Vice President at Amico Affiliates Infrastructures, has been elected Second Vice President of the Ontario Road Builders’ Association and has joined the Board’s Executive Committee. Additionally, Tony Cofini, Vice President Infrastructure at Ledcor, joinined the ORBA Board of Directors for a three-year term from 2026-2029.

Dennis Gam has joined Entuitive as a Senior Associate, bringing 30 years of structural engineering expertise and leadership.

Jennifer Ashawasegai-Pereira has returned to AECOM as Indigenous Relations Lead, Eastern Canada.

Jeff Lyash has been appointed to Aecon Group Inc.‘s Board of Directorw. With four decades of nuclear and power industry experience, including previous roles as President and CEO at Tennessee Valley Authority and Ontario Power Generation, Lyash brings significant expertise to support Aecon’s growth strategy in the nuclear and power sectors.

Lorne Sobczyk has joined the Calgary Construction Association as Program Manager for Tailgate Toolkit.

Andrea Main has been appointed Federal Growth Lead, Buildings + Places, Canada at AECOM.

Michael Casey has been appointed Chief Administrative Officer at EllisDon. In this expanded role, he will oversee Legal Services and Government Relations, building on his work as Senior Vice President and General Counsel since 2022.

Jennifer Krochak has been appointed Chief Commercial Officer for Egis in Canada.
