The Government of Ontario launching a study for bridges and interchanges along the 401 corridor between Kingston and Highway 416.
The study, which will commence in spring of 2020, will help determine future needs for upcoming rehabilitation and replacement of bridges and interchanges along Highway 401 between Kingston and Highway 416. This work will help planners make the right decisions about future infrastructure projects which will reduce delays and keep traffic moving along this critical stretch of highway.
“Our government is committed to studying the need for rehabilitation and replacement of bridges and interchanges along this stretch of the 401 corridor, for today and tomorrow,” said Caroline Mulroney, Minister of Transportation. “This study will inform our planning for the future transportation needs in Eastern Ontario.”
