About The Project

Located in the Bas-Saint-Laurent region, on the private and public lands of TNO Boisbouscache and the municipalities of Sainte-Françoise, Saint-Mathieu-de-Riou, Saint-Médard (RCM Basques) and Saint-Eugene-de-Ladrière (RCM of Rimouski-Neigette), this 224.4 MW wind farm will be comprised of 68 Vestas V117 wind turbine generators. This project will involve around 400 workers on site during peak construction.

Commissioning is expected to take place in December 2017.

Project Owner: EDF EN Canada (50 per cent), Énergie Éolienne Bas-St-Laurent (33.3 per cent), and Régie intermunicipale de l’énergie Gaspésie-Îles-de-la Madeleine (16.7 per cent)
