About The Project

The Royal Columbian Hospital redevelopment is a three-phase, multi-year project that will increase the hospital’s capacity by approximately 50 per cent. Phase 2, now under construction, will create the new Jim Pattison Acute Care Tower with more beds, a larger Emergency Department and more operating rooms. Phase 3 will upgrade and expand areas in existing buildings to support the beds and services in the new acute care tower.
