The Region of Waterloo in Ontario recently released preliminary designs of its proposed new transit hub, to be located at the corner of King and Victoria in Kitchener.

The new hub will connect the Waterloo ION LRT, GO Train, Grand River Transit (bus), VIA Rail passenger trains and pedestrian links in one central location. Architecture49 Inc., WZMH Architects, and WSP are involved in the early design stage.

Check out some of the preliminary drawings and designs of the project. A public meeting is being held in early December to gather feedback on the proposed designs, and the Region hopes to begin construction in 2021.
